Sud de France Block Party

Sud de France Block Party

Sud de France, the French Consulate and Accueil New York present a block party unlike any other! Taking inspiration from guinguettes – buoyant cabarets where people would eat and dance on feast days – they're recreating the feel of a typical market in the South of France. You'll have your pick of the region's most delicious foods. French-born chef Laurent Kalkotour of the recently opened restaurant Atrium at Dumbo will be making a few of Languedoc's most beloved specialties, including rousquilles and brandade de morue, a wickedly flavorful salt cod dish made with the most sublime olive oil. After satifying your appetite, Live bands will no doubt tempt you out of your seat and onto the dance floor. Let the good times roll!
