Description
Artist, scientist, engineer, inventor - Leonardo da Vinci was a universal genius, first among the "uomini universali", a term coined in Italian for those who demonstrated extraordinary potential.
The exhibition LEONARDO DA VINCI - UOMO UNIVERSALE takes you on a journey through the life of the genius with numerous replicas of his inventions as well as many of his paintings. At the heart of this exhibition is its immersive nature: Impressive projections bring the work and world of this infamous genius to life. Experience the "uomo universale" like never before - entertaining, gripping, fascinating. Join us and immerse yourself in a fascinating world!
The exhibition was created by the creative team of the Visiodrom Wuppertal with Marie Haus and Axel Kurz, under the curatorial direction of Christian Höher and with the academic support of Dr. Hiram Kümper, Professor of Late Medieval and Early Modern History at the University of Mannheim.

- Eine sehr schöne Ausstellung. Interessant, wissenswert und toll gestaltet. Sehe mir gern die nächste Ausstellung an. Kann die Ausstellung "Leonardo Da Vinci" nur empfehlen.
- Wie in jedem Jahr - eine exzellente und sehenswerte Show. Die Erklärungen im Vorraum sind sehr hilfreich und die Modelle ausgesprochen gut.
- Wunderbar gemachte Ausstellung, in der man nicht nur über Leonardo da Vinci, sondern auch noch über seine Zeitgenossen viel erfährt - und die verschiedenen Maltechniken werden ganz toll erklärt.
- Das Leben und vielseitige Schaffenswerk von LDV wird ausführlich und verständlich beschrieben und anhand zahlreicher Exponate erklärt. Die Videoshow ist ein künstlerisches Meisterwerk. Musik, Grafik und technische Umsetzung sind sehr gelungen. Alles in allem eine sehr sehenswerte Ausstellung.
- Toller Aufbau: erst die Ausstellung mit sooo vielen interessanten Infos, dann das immersive Highlight, das sich auf die davor angesehene Ausstellung bezog, dazu wunderbare Musikuntermalung. Ich war total geflasht.
- Es war toll, besonders die Zusammenstellung der Bilder und der Musik im grossen Raum - eine ganz andere Welt - vielen Dank !
