Let’s do the Time Warp again! The Pelvic Thrusts are back! Melbourne’s most notorious shadow cast experience is taking over the historical Astor Theatre for two nights: Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th. The Pelvic Thrusts are a troupe of professional local drag, circus, burlesque and cabaret performers who bring the Rocky Horror Picture Show to LIFE with a full-scale, immersive theatre production. Are you a newbie to an immersive shadow cast experience? Here’s how it works: The iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show movie will play on the big screen, while The Pelvic Thrusts cast deliver their signature high-energy, very risque performance. It’s astounding! There is one other very special cast member, though… YOU! You get to participate in the screening, with dancing, famous call-backs and even the chance to get onstage with the cast. We don’t want to give too many spoilers - You’ll have to experience it to believe it! WHAT ELSE TO EXPECT A costume competition: Dress to impress in your sparkliest corsets, most outrageous fishnets, and dazzling costumes because there will be PRIZES for the best dressed! Showbags: These custom show bags ($10 each) contain everything you need to fully participate in the madness. Drinks and snacks: Will be available at the bar, so you can enjoy a refreshment as you get caught up in the fun.
