Explore the flavours of authentic Mexican cuisine, prepared with a bounty of incredible British produce, with our 'Taste of Mexico' experience at The Post Room Cafe. Available on two nights in July and August, Chef Rishad's four course menu champions seasonal native ingredients: From British Wagyu to wild caught Cornish Cod, discover a diversity of British produce, with spicy, citrusy Mexican preparations. Best of both worlds! Expect authentic Mexican cuisine, including hand made corn tortillas, punchy salsas, slow cooked meat, and crispy fish tacos. The menu has four phases, beginning with our Wagyu Beef Nachos, moving on to an assortment of fresh tacos including Irish beef ribeye, wild cod tempura, and free range chicken al pastor. Finally we end with a hearty portion of 12 hour cooked pork carnitas, Mexican rice, slow cooked bean stew, and a decadent slice of Tres Leches to finish.
