València is emerging as a centre of art and design after being named “World Design Capital” in 2022 and “City of Design” by UNESCO in 2023. Building on this, Turiart is launching a unique and avant-garde cultural experience in collaboration with LAVAC (the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of the Valencian Community). With the aim of inviting residents and visitors to explore the city from a different perspective, “València Art & Design Walks” is an innovative tourist route proposal that blends contemporary art, cutting-edge architecture, and design through Valencia’s lesser-known but equally captivating corners. The routes offer art and design walks through the streets and contemporary art galleries of the city, led by art interpreters passionate about conveying the creative essence of València.
