Description
Bélizaire is a newly founded queer, black-owned brand offering curated experiences with a foundation in art, blackness and queerness. We celebrate community, talk about art history and come together to experience figure drawing. Want to break up the monotony of typical Sunday day-drinking? We host a monthly live figure drawing session on the last Sunday of each month from 11:45AM-2:30PM! Step into our world where creativity knows no bounds, where every corner is infused with inspiration and warmth. Picture yourself entering a beautiful art studio space, bathed in soft light and filled with the hum of artistic energy. In this space, art isn't something gatekept behind glass and velvet ropes—art is for us by us. Here, you'll find drawing boards eagerly awaiting your touch, beckoning you to unleash your imagination and let your creativity flow freely. Whether you're an experienced artist or someone just dipping their toes into the world of figure drawing, our welcoming community embraces you with open arms. As you mingle with fellow creatives, sharing stories and exchanging ideas over bevys and brunchies, you'll feel a sense of belonging unlike any other. The air is filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the gentle sound of pencils scratching against paper, creating a beat of creativity that resonates throughout the space. But this experience isn't just about creating art—it's about connecting with others who share your passion, forging a network that transcends boundaries and enriches your life in ways you never thought possible. Here, you'll discover a sense of fulfillment and joy that stays with you long after you've left, inspiring you to continue pursuing your creative dreams, and community building with newfound vigor and enthusiasm. With every ticket bought, we allocate a portion of the proceeds to a charity selected by the Muse themself. So come join us in this diverse creative space, where the snacks and drinks flow and boundless creativity await. Whether you're here to sketch or simply vybe, you'll find yourself cozy in a world where anything is possible—and where the journey of self-expression is as enriching as the destination itself. All skill levels are encouraged to join; no prior drawing experience is needed. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment, harmful dialogue and discrimination. Offenders will be asked to leave, without refund. WE DO NOT PLAY!
