Candlelight concerts bring a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring venues across Melbourne. At The Athenaeum Theatre, surrounded by the glow of candles, a string quartet performs the best of Fleetwood Mac and more, in an intimate Candlelight concert you won't forget.
This concert experience is a tribute. It is not associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the artist, their heirs or their official representatives.
On the day How it works
Arrive early
Doors open 30 minutes before the concert. They close 5 minutes before it starts. Late entry is not permitted once the concert has started.
Find your seat
Seats are not numbered: they are taken on a first-come, first-served basis within the zone on your ticket.
Let the music take over
Enjoy 65 minutes of live music surrounded by candles.

The Athenaeum Theatre is a historic venue located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. Built in the mid-1800s, it has undergone numerous renovations and is now a popular destination for theatre, music, comedy, and more. With its elegant design and state-of-the-art facilities, the theatre offers an unforgettable experience for any event or performance.

What are the different ticket types?
There are four seating zones: Zone A (premium visibility), Zone B (great visibility), Zone C (good visibility) and Zone D (restricted visibility).
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be bought through the Fever app or website (www.feverup.com) before you arrive.
Can I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests who need assistance throughout the experience can apply for one free pass for their carer. Once you have bought your ticket (you must hold a valid ticket before applying), please contact us for more information.
Is there an age requirement?
All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where can I find my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play). Please log in with the same method you used to make the purchase. Your QR code is also in your purchase confirmation email.
Can I change my ticket?
Subject to availability, you can change the date and/or time of your ticket up to 48 hours before the start of your experience: contact us with your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, please see our T&Cs.

At The Athenaeum Theatre, 188 Collins Street, Melbourne, 3000.
How do I get to the venue?
The venue is in the city centre, close to the Collins Street tram stop and Flinders Station.
Is there food served?
Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the venue.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed, except for service animals.
Does this venue have disability access?
The theatre is wheelchair accessible for ticket holders of Zones A and B.
Is there parking available?
There's no free parking at the venue. Paid parking is available within walking distance.
Can I take photos or videos during the performance?
Photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece, without flash, as indicated by our musicians.

Your phone must be on silent for the entire performance. Photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece, without flash, as indicated by our musicians.
Can I leave the concert room during the performance?
Out of respect for the musicians and the audience, you will not be able to leave your seat except in an emergency.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert starts so you can be seated within your purchased zone. The concert begins on time and the audience must be seated beforehand. If you arrive late, out of respect for the musicians and the audience, you will not be allowed in.
Can I sit together with my friends?
Yes, you can sit with your friends if you arrive together and all have tickets for the same zone. We recommend arriving in good time, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to any other Fever account at no extra cost: just tap "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. For further help, please contact us with your ticket ID.
Are the candles flammable?
For the safety of attendees, all candles are flameless.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
There is no dress code. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clothes suited to the season.
How are seats assigned? Can we sit together?
Seats are not numbered: they are assigned on arrival, first come first served, within the zone you purchased. To sit together, your whole group needs to arrive at the same time with tickets for the same zone.
