Description
Between 1845 and 1848, the Marx family lived in Brussels. During his stay, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote several books, including the Communist Manifesto. This walk is also an immersion in the very young Belgium, just independent. At that time of uninhibited capitalism, this tiny country was the world's second-largest industrial power!
