Description
She enjoyed an emotional presentation of Leonor Santos' new album, "Se me vires por aí" (If you see me around). Natural from Porto, she began singing under the influence of fado singer Fernanda Maria in Lisbon, at the Lisbon by Night club. Before returning to his hometown, he was a regular for many years at the typical Parreirinha in Alfama, at the invitation of Argentina Santos. He has traveled all over the world and even performed fado in Japan. This year, she celebrates 60 years of career, and we can currently hear her at Casa da Mariquinhas and Arcadas de São Jorge, in Le Onde, where she moves us with every verse she sings. Fado is heart, it's emotion, it's sadness and joy, it's a whirlwind of feelings, it's nostalgia. After all, fado is the "destiny that binds us, however much it may be denied, to the strings of a guitar"!
