Forged in Madrid at the beginning of the century, Pignoise united Álvaro Benito (Real Madrid, Getafe and Spanish National Team player) and Héctor Polo, also a footballer. They were joined by Pablo Alonso and quickly began recording albums and giving concerts. After Melodías desafinadas (2003) and Esto no es un disco de punk (2005), they found massive success with the inclusion of their song Nada que perder as the theme song for the TV series Los hombres de Paco.
