Born in Madrid at the turn of the century, Pignoise brought together Álvaro Benito (former Real Madrid, Getafe, and Spanish National Team player) and Héctor Polo, also a footballer. Joined by Pablo Alonso, the band quickly rose to fame, recording albums and performing live. After Melodías desafinadas (2003) and Esto no es un disco de punk (2005), they achieved massive success with their hit song Nada que perder, which became the theme for the TV series Los hombres de Paco. Now, Pignoise is celebrating their 20th anniversary in style at the Movistar Arena in Madrid.
