Description
Spend your summer nights under Munich's starry sky, celebrating a diverse range of music from various genres. On August 15, the Mandoki Soulmates, with their new album in tow, will grace the stage at the Munich Open Air Summer 2024. Over 30 years ago, the band's founder, producer, drummer, and singer, Leslie Mandoki, brought together jazz and rock legends to create a collaborative album. Since then, Mandoki's jazz-rock project, known as Mandoki Soulmates, has evolved into a one-of-a-kind supergroup of band leaders with 13 joint albums, multiple live DVDs, Blu-rays, and countless concerts worldwide. Mandoki's vision is to make progressive jazz-rock relevant to society once again, viewing music as an expression of freedom. With intellectual and poetic lyrics, the band takes a stance on sociopolitical changes. Their new concert program is titled Peace in Freedom - Freedom in Peace, and it features songs from their upcoming joint album, set to be released worldwide in the spring of 2024. They will also perform some of the world hits from individual protagonists like Till Brönner, John Helliwell, Tony Carey, and Peter Maffay, among others, with whom they shared the stage during their tour this year. Don't miss out on getting your tickets for the Munich Open Air Summer 2024 - Mandoki Soulmates!
