At Candlelight Christmas: Weihnachtliche Filmmusik, the Lichtspiel und Kunsttheater Schauburg in Dortmund becomes a festive concert stage for an unforgettable evening in the run-up to Christmas.
This concert experience is a tribute. It is not associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the artist, their heirs or their official representatives.

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert. Late entry is not permitted once the concert has started.

Seats are numbered: look for the seat shown on your ticket.

Ein sehr gelungenes Geschenk, der Abend war sehr schön, das Prima Streichquartett hat wunderschön gespielt. Tolle und passende Liedauswahl. Einziger Kritikpunkt, einen kleinen Kerzenständer mit echten Kerzen auf der Bühne wäre doch noch schöner gewesen - es war zwar schon sehr schön mit den Kernen, hätte es nur nochmal mehr überboten :)

In 1944, the building was almost completely destroyed in an air raid, but was quickly rebuilt and was provisionally reopened as the first cinema in Dortmund in the summer of 1945. What different ticket types are there?
There are tickets for Zone A, B and C.
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Tickets cannot be purchased at the venue. All tickets must be bought via the app or the website (www.feverup.com) before attending the event.
Can I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests who require assistance throughout the experience are entitled to a free ticket for their personal carer. Once you have purchased your ticket (you must hold a valid ticket to make use of this offer), please send us the relevant supporting documents. Once we have received these, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (subject to availability). Please note that you will need to show your regular ticket together with the carer ticket at the entrance.
Is there an age restriction for the event?
All guests must be at least 8 years old to attend. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I change my ticket?
Subject to availability, changes to the date and/or time are possible up to 24 hours before the experience starts. In this case, please contact us quoting your ticket ID. A refund is not possible under any circumstances. For more information, please see our Terms and Conditions.
What is the Flexible Refund ticket?
With the Flexible Refund ticket, you can request a full refund if you decide not to attend the experience.
When can I return my Flexible Refund ticket?
You can return your Flexible Refund ticket and receive a full refund if you contact us up to 48 hours before the experience starts. Please note that the ticket is not refundable if it has been transferred to another person.
What documents do I need to provide to receive my refund?
No documents are required for your refund request.
How do I request my refund?
Please contact us to have your Flexible Refund ticket refunded.
Where does the experience take place?
The experience takes place at the Lichtspiel und Kunsttheater Schauburg (Brückstraße 66, 44135 Dortmund).
How do I get to the venue?
The art theatre is just a 10 minute walk from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof.
Will food and drinks be available?
Drinks can be purchased at the in-house bar before the concert.
Can I bring animals?
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals. Please contact us in advance if you will be accompanied by a service animal.
Does the venue have wheelchair accessible access?
Unfortunately, the venue does not have wheelchair accessible access.
Is there a car park?
The theatre does not have its own private car park.
Can I still be let in after the concert has started?
No. Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late admission after the concert has started is not possible.
Is there an interval?
No. The concert lasts 60 minutes, and no interval is scheduled.
Where can I find my ticket?
You'll find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, signing in with the same method you used to buy. Your QR code is also in your confirmation email. Tickets are fully digital, so there is no need to print anything.
Are the candles real? Are they flammable?
For everyone's safety, the candles are LED: they recreate the glow of a flame without real fire, so they don't burn and pose no risk.
Can I take photos or record videos? Can I use my phone during the performance?
Please keep your phone on silent throughout the performance. Photos and videos are only allowed when the musicians say so, and always without flash.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
There is no dress code. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clothes suited to the season.
How are seats assigned?
Seats are numbered: your seat number appears on your ticket.
