Description
This winter, Spotlight Chamber Concerts returns to the "beautifully restored church of St John’s Waterloo" (Observer). Founded in 2020 by clarinettist Anthony Friend in response to the pandemic, this small newcomer to London’s concert scene is now in its fifth edition and has a loyal following amongst artists and audiences. In this opening concert of the series, pianist Benjamin Grosvenor and his duo partner, violinist Hyeyoon Park, take on three pieces that will be sure to delight your ears. Since winning the Keyboard section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition aged 11, Benjamin Grosvenor has become a renowned performer. Hyeyoon Park is an equally gifted musician, and their collaborations together have been described as "flawless" and "spine-tingling" (The Guardian).
