FAQs Got questions? We've got answers

Where is the event?
The experience takes place at The Detroit Club, 712 Cass Ave.
Can you tell me more about the experience?
Fever Originals has been curating a series of exciting and immersive dining experiences across the globe, collaborating with world class and hidden gem restaurants to provide this truly unique and culinary experience dubbed: Dining In The Dark. Guests will enter a darkened room, only lit by the flicker of candlelight before placing their velvet blindfold over their head. A true foodie experience that promises to enhance your senses by eliminating one of them - your eyesight!
How do we eat in the dark? How do we know when we’ve finished?
Get Creative! Find a method that works for you, everyone has their own way!
How does the menu work? Do I need to choose anything?
There is a set mystery menu only. A bespoke especially for this event and chosen from seasonal ingredients. You simply need to select your preference of either Meat (Red), Seafood (Blue) or Vegan (Green)! Please let us know if you have any allergies in the form provided so we can make the necessary alterations. After you purchase your tickets, please indicate your dietary requirements through the post-booking questionnaire. This action is mandatory!
How long will I be in the dark for?
The most you will be in the dark for is approximately 90 minutes if you managed to skip the toilet breaks! We do advise that you remain in the dark for the full event to experience the true and fullest experience.
Is tax and gratuity included in the ticket?
No, the ticket includes the 3 course meal. At the end of the evening you will receive a check for taxes, additional drink purchases and gratuity. Every guest is required to pay a $18 gratuity charge onsite to the restaurant staff at the end of the experience. Beverages consumed are an additional cost and are subject to 20% gratuity.
What is the dress code of The Detroit Club?
As far as the dress code goes, we describe it as “smart casual.” It is okay to wear jeans as long as there are no holes in them. We ask that a collared shirt or nice shirt be worn as well. There is no athletic wear, tennis shoes, or graphic t-shirts allowed. That pretty much sums it up.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we always ensure our venues are wheelchair friendly.
Are refunds allowed?
Exchanges to other dates and/or times are permitted up to 72 hours before the start time of the originally purchased event and is based on availability. Please email hello@feverup.com directly to change your ticket.
I can't go on this date, will there be more dates available?
The event will have several sessions available with a variety of dates. However, there will be a very limited number of tickets available per date so we advise securing your favoured dates early.
Can I sit together with friends?
Yes, you can sit with your friends. We encourage you to purchase all tickets for your party in one order to ensure the restaurant has prepared for your group size. Please Note: some seating is communal and you may be seated with other guests.
When do I need to be there?
Please refer to your tickets to review your session time. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to your session.
What happens if I'm late?
We can allow entry if you are up to 20 minutes late. Any later than that and you will not be able to experience the full event and we can refuse entry at the promoters discretion. However, we will always do our best to accommodate each and every guest.
Can I leave the venue and return?
No. Once you are seated you must remain at your table unless needing the bathroom. Your waiter will be at hand for all your needs and any drink orders you may have.
What is the minimum age to enter the venue?
