Itinerary

• 1:50 p.m. - Open
• 2:15 p.m. - Introduction to Japanese characters and calligraphy
• 2:45 p.m. - Practice the basic skills of Japanese calligraphy
• 3:00 p.m. - Practice the word '東京'（Tokyo）and your own name on paper
• 3:30 p.m. - Make your original folding fan

Description
Discover the art of Japanese calligraphy and create your own original folding fan! You'll start off by learning a brief history of Japanese characters and calligraphy. After you've mastered that, it's time to create your fan. Using a Hanko seal and origami paper you'll decorate your fan and use your calligraphy skills to write a word and your name on it.
