In a spectacular afternoon of music, the Phoenix Collective Quartet pays tribute to the notion of arcadian England through the work of Ralph Vaughan Williams. The sweeping melodies of Vaughan Williams’s String Quartet no 1 are complimented by one of the best-known works from Ludwig van Beethoven. To complete the concert's programme, they’ll also be performing a world premier from rising star Emma Greenhill.
