Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition showcases the awe and wonder of arguably one of mankind’s greatest artistic achievements, while allowing its visitors to experience this art from an up-close, life-size, and never-before-seen perspective. With special expertise and care, the ceiling paintings from the Sistine Chapel have been reproduced in a truly unique way using licensed high definition photos. Brought to life using a special printing technique that emulates the look and feel of the original paintings, visitors are given a chance to engage with the artwork in ways that were never before possible: seeing every detail, every brushstroke, and every color of the artist’s 34 frescoes. Each image is accompanied by informative signage, and audio guides are available to rent for an even more in-depth experience. This globally successful exhibition is an innovative and unique interpretation of Michelangelo’s timeless masterpiece. - A great experience. Having seen the Sistine Chapel in Rome before the restoration and the exhibit today in Halfax I am amazed and impressed. Great pricing, an audio explaination of every painting, no crowds, no time limits. I highly recommend everyone take the opportunity
- Wonderful. The setup was great. To see the images at life-size was just an unbelievable experience. The colours were breathtaking. The whole experience was so memorable. And the best part is no stiff neck from trying to view it overhead. We highly recommend it.
- The Sistine Chapel exhibit was absolutely stunning! The audio guide is very helpful. Plan to be there at least 90 minutes as you will want to thoroughly experience this magnificent work.

- I have visited the Sistine Chapel on various occasions, however, by providing a life-size window, on Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling frescoes and the Last Judgement, this exhibition gives the viewers an intimate view of the details of the masterpiece. We, in Halifax, are fortunate to have this opportunity and one that will leave a lasting impression on its viewers.
