The museum presents a path where each civilization is portrayed through narratives of combating disease and seeking cures, from the earliest traces of life on earth to the present day. Between reconstructions and recreations, surgical instruments that hark back to the achievements of the Roman Empire, masks of healers and sorcerers from various African tribes, among many others, this is certainly a Portuguese pharmacy!
