Inaugurated in June 1996, the Pharmacy Museum offers you an engaging and unique journey through 5000 years of health history. Secure your spot now and discover its vast collection, which includes objects of rare artistic, anthropological, and scientific value. The museum presents a narrative where each civilization is portrayed through its approach to combating disease and seeking cures and pain relief, from the earliest traces of life on Earth to the present day. Among the reconstructions and recreations, you will find an Egyptian sarcophagus, a Black Death medical suit, and many others—this is undoubtedly a Portuguese pharmacy!
