Take a tour of some of Rome's most important catacombs! On this guided tour of the Catacombs of St. Sebastian, you'll appreciate all the beauty, faith and memory imbued in these catacombs, created in the late second and early third centuries AD. The space was used for burial and funeral commemorations of the Christian community, but was originally a pozzolan quarry. Discover exactly why the Catacombs of San Sebastiano are not sad and dark slums, but are instead a secret world that attracted many pilgrims in the Middle Ages.
