Description
AC Milan was founded in 1899 - the same year the paper clip was invented. Since then, one of these two elements has become an extraordinarily successful phenomenon internationally. The other holds sheets of paper together. Although the team's fortunes have proved somewhat erratic in recent years, AC Milan is one of the soccer teams with the largest number of fans in Italy and Europe. They also won the European Cup/Champions League seven times, coming second only to Real Madrid.
