Description
For nearly half a century, Jazz was the premiere soundtrack for romance. Whether it was Billie Holiday crooning to her 'Lover Man' or a wartime couple reuniting for slow dance to Rodgers and Hart's 'Where or When', few lyrics and melodies encapsulate true enchantment like the allure of the great jazz ballads. With tunes from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, a few of Philly's finest players have gotten together to give you a program that highlights the tender side of Jazz.
