Exquisite music by talented members of Charleston’s symphony in an incredibly beautiful setting. The candlelight really made the experience. I couldn’t stop smiling. Vivaldi never sounded better.

A wonderful show and experience. Well decorated with candlelight throughout, and top notch musicians playing the classics. A delightful addition was the quartet’s explanations of the pieces from their own experiences.

It was a beautiful performance in the historic and lovely Unitarian Church. The violinists were so talented and had great personalities as they told us about the different pieces they were playing.

So enjoyed the stories/background before the pieces were played. Music by candlelight was very moving- beautifully done., Loved it!

The event as a whole was so incredibly lovely. The concert by candlelight by gorgeous, the musicians were extremely talented as well as quite humorous, and the staff was very kind. The venue was also stunning!

How long does the concert last?

The concert lasts 60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the show, and once it starts, latecomers won't be able to enter.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

The concert takes place indoors, at The Unitarian Church.

Will food or drinks be available?

No, there will be no food or beverages at the venue.

Is there parking near the venue?

Yes — the Queen Street parking garage (93 Queen St) and Majestic Square (corner of Archdale and Market streets) are nearby, and limited parking is available behind Gage Hall.

Is there a minimum age to attend?

Yes, all guests must be 8 years old or older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is ADA compliant.

Can I take photos or use my phone during the concert?

Your phone should stay on silent throughout the performance. Photos and videos (without flash) are only allowed during the final piece, as indicated by the musicians.

Yes, as long as you arrive together and hold tickets for the same zone. We recommend arriving early so we can do our best to seat you together.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert to be assigned a seat within your purchased zone. The show starts on time and the audience must already be seated — latecomers won't be admitted, out of respect for the musicians and the rest of the audience.

Can I leave the room during the performance?

Out of respect for the musicians and the audience, you won't be able to leave your seat except in an emergency.

What happens if the weather affects the event?

If weather conditions require a change of location or a postponement, we'll notify you by email in advance.

Are the candles real flames?

For everyone's safety, all the candles used are flameless.
