Sounds of Summer presents an immersive cinematic screening of Dave Chappelle's Block Party - featuring a slew of legendary artists including Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Kanye West, The Roots, Common, and more. The film follows Chappelle during the summer of 2004 when he threw a block party on the corner of Quincy Street and Downing Street in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. This event, hosted by WUTI, is an opportunity for lovers of cinema and music who want to get excited about live events again! A unique experience with guest DJs, featured talent, and lots of delicious food and drinks available for purchase. 15% of ticket sales and concession profits go directly to My Friend's Place, an organization assisting local youth experiencing homelessness. Donβt miss out on this amazing night!
