The Legacy Walk outdoor museum – managed by the award-winning Legacy Project – features dozens of bronze biographical memorials celebrating the lives and achievements of notable LGBTQ individuals like international superstar Josephine Baker, British Mathematician Alan Turing, Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo, Civil Rights pioneer Bayard Rustin, and over three dozen others! Spanning a mile on Chicago’s north side, the international and multi-cultural Legacy Walk – the largest LGBTQ site on earth to be declared an Historic Landmark – is the centerpiece of Illinois’s new K-12 LGBTQ-Inclusive Public Curriculum. Your ticket purchase helps underwrite this unique and invaluable work to inspire the next generation’s LGBTQ leaders!
