Leeds Central Library
Leeds Central Library, housed in the former Municipal Buildings, dates back to 1879–1884 and was designed by George Corson. The building features detailed interior carvings led by John Wormald Appleyard, including an alabaster arch crafted by Farmer & Brindley. Its historic architecture blends Victorian grandeur with intricate stonework, reflecting Leeds’s rich civic heritage in the city center.
