YZD is the largest urban redevelopment project in North America. The 370-acre former Downsview Airport lands will become a series of great new transit-connected Toronto neighbourhoods. Located in the centre of North America’s fastest growing region, YZD will shift the centre of gravity north. YZD will create more than 35,000 homes, and 23,000 jobs, in several walkable neighbourhoods, all connected by the reimagined former Runway, the signature feature of this city within a city.
