Gongbungnu

Gongbungnu is the north gate of Gongsanseong Fortress in Gongju, a two-story pavilion with a hip-and-gable roof built in the 36th year of King Seonjo of the Joseon Dynasty (1603). Its central passage is open, offering a panoramic view of the Geumgang River and the fortress walls. It stands as a representative gatehouse where one can experience both historical significance and scenic beauty.
