Located in the former Central of Georgia Railway Repair Shops Complex and Terminal Facilities, this museum offers family-friendly fun with interactive experiences, including a working handcar, walking through historic railcars, and taking guided tours by train. The site features the oldest railroad repair facility buildings in the United States. These buildings, locomotives, and railcars tell the stories of site workers from over 100 years of the complex’s operation.
