The Forte Trionfale is one of the 15 forts of Rome, built between 1882 and 1888 to defend the Via Trionfale and the Valley of Hell. Located at 7400 Via Trionfale, in the Trionfale district north of the capital, the fort covers an area of about 21 hectares.
