Foro Italico
The Foro Italico (Foro Mussolini) is a sports complex in Rome, Italy, designed by Enrico Del Debbio in 1928 and completed by Luigi Moretti in 1937. Inspired by the Roman Forums, it is a masterpiece of Italian fascist architecture desired by Benito Mussolini. It houses the Olympic Stadium of Rome, the Stadio dei Marmi, and the Olympic Swimming Stadium and was the venue for the Roma Olympics in 1960.
