The Correios Léa Garcia Theater, reopened in 2024 and named in honor of the acclaimed carioca actress Léa Garcia (1933–2023), is located in downtown Rio de Janeiro. With the mission of consolidating itself as a center for valuing Black Theater and the traditions of Brazil's indigenous peoples, the space hosts a plural programming focused on scenic research, ancestry, and the multiple expressions of Black and indigenous art.
