Splendid Palace
The Cinema Splendid Palace, opened in 1923 and renamed in 2011, is a historic gem at 61 Elizabetes iela. It was the first in the Baltics to show sound films. Housed in Riga’s first ferro concrete building, it features Rococo architecture, stunning paintings, and sculptures—making every film screening a unique cultural experience.
