Côte d'Azur Observatory

The Côte d'Azur Observatory is an astronomical observatory located in Nice, atop Mont Gros, 370 meters above sea level, in the heart of a 35-hectare forest. Architect Charles Garnier designed the 15 original buildings. He designed the base of the large dome, and engineer Gustave Eiffel built the dome housing the main telescope.
