Weehawken Dueling Grounds

The Weehawken Dueling Grounds, located along the New Jersey Palisades by the Hudson River, is famed for historic duels that took place from 1700 to 1884, notably the 1804 duel in which Alexander Hamilton was fatally shot by Aaron Burr. Today, it features a bronze statue of Hamilton and a park offering great Manhattan skyline views.
