Munich Residence

The Brunnenhof at the Munich Residence is the largest courtyard of the former Wittelsbach Residence and impresses with its expansive layout featuring a central magnificent fountain. The Renaissance courtyard was expanded in the 17th century with baroque style elements and today serves as an atmospheric backdrop for open-air events. The bronze column of the Wittelsbach fountain bears historical references to Bavarian rule.
