Abbaye Saint-Victor
The Abbaye Saint-Victor in Marseille was founded in the 5th century by Jean Cassien. The abbey was listed as a historic monument in 1840 and again in 1862. In 1934, Pope Pius XI elevated the abbey church to the rank of basilica minor.
