Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga

The Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga was created in 1880, alongside the Philharmonic Society, with its first director being D. Eduardo Ocón y Rivas. The Conservatory has been and continues to be a center for high-level music education within the state framework, as evidenced by the fact that it was part of the group of six higher conservatories supervised by the Ministry of Education in the 1960s.
