The Saint-Bruno-des-Chartreux church is located on the slopes of Croix-Rousse. Classified as a historical monument, it has been completely restored. It houses a magnificent 18th-century baldachin, reputed to be the most beautiful in France, with stucco draperies. With its stunning golden decorations, dome, altar, stalls, chapels, and statues, the St Bruno church is a jewel glorifying baroque art. The church also includes many works of art.
