Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare
In 1755, David Garrick built a 'Temple to Shakespeare' in his garden by the River Thames. It was home to his collection of Shakespeare memorabilia, but it was also where he and his celebrated wife entertained their remarkably diverse circle of friends. Today, The Trust for Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare invites you to come and be entertained too!
