100 Kellogg Lane Main Gallery

The story of 100 Kellogg Lane in London, Ontario began with brothers John Harvey (J.H.) Kellogg and Will Keith (W.K.) Kellogg in Battle Creek, Michigan. After completing his medical degree, Dr. J.H. Kellogg became passionate about reforming American eating habits. In 1876, he became president of the Battle Creek Sanitarium, where he and his brother W.K. began experimenting with cereals. In 1894, they discovered wheat flakes, which they called Granose, the world's first flaked cereal.
