Museum Aljube Resistência e Liberdade

The Aljube Museum - Resistance and Freedom is a historic site in Lisbon that depicts the Portuguese dictatorial regime, its forms of repression and oppression, the resistance of opposition movements, and the anti-colonial struggle. The building, an old political prison, was restored and adapted by architects Manuel Graça Dias and Egas José Vieira, valuing the memories of resistance and the features of the dictatorial regime.
