Jerónimos Monastery

The Jerónimos Monastery in Belém, Lisbon, is a Portuguese monument built at the end of the 15th century by King Manuel I and given to the Order of St. Jerome. It is considered one of the most remarkable Portuguese monastic ensembles and one of the main hall churches in Europe, being a culmination of Manueline architecture. Since 2016, it has had the status of National Pantheon.
