Roonstraße Synagogue

The Cologne Synagogue Community is the oldest north of the Alps with Jewish life dating back to the 4th century. With around 4,100 members, it is one of the largest in Germany, offering a variety of religious, social, and cultural services as well as educational and welfare centers. The community center at Roonstraße 50 was built in the late 19th century in neo-Romanesque style and accommodates 1,400 people.
