Romans' Northern Gate
The Northern Gate of Cologne is an impressive three-arched Roman city gate and the best-preserved of its kind. Parts of it stand on the cathedral square, while the central arch can be viewed in the Roman-Germanic Museum. It provides insight into the city fortifications of the ancient Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium.
