Petruskirche Kiel Wik
The Petruskirche in Kiel-Wik was built from 1905 to 1907 as a naval garrison church at the request of Grand Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz. The distinctive building was created based on designs by the Karlsruhe architectural firm Curjel & Moser and stands on a hill above Niemannsweg. Its historical origin is closely linked to the development of the Imperial Navy and the history of the city of Kiel.
