WAKO Gewand Halle

WAKO Gewand Halle was built in 1990, based on the Gewandhaus, a facility used by the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Germany. The name "GEWAND" means "garment" in German, and comes from the fact that the home of the Gebanthaus Orchestra was a textile fairground. The structure is designed to allow the audience to enjoy the resonance and atmosphere of the space, especially for classical music concerts.
