Temppeliaukio Church
Temppeliaukio Church is an architectural gem in the heart of Helsinki. The church, completed in 1969, is designed by architect brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen. The church hall is covered with a dome, lined with copper, and supported on the rock walls by reinforced concrete beams. Due to its excellent acoustics, Temppeliaukio Church is a highly popular concert venue.
