Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres

The Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres is a monument in the historic center of Guadalajara, Mexico, built in 1952 by architect Vicente Mendiola. It consists of seventeen fluted columns supporting a ring of stone with the inscription "Jalisco to its enlightened children," a central flame, and ninety-eight niches. It is a place of great historical and cultural importance for the culture and history of the country.
